Julia Roberts shot back like a pro after receiving criticism! Despite the fact that the actress hasn’t been on social media for a long time, the clap back was just perfect!
It all started after the celeb was featured on a vintage fashion account wearing the beautiful Dsquared2 black dress she rocked at the Toronto International Film Festival where she attended the premiere of her Ben Is Back movie.
Alongside a snap of the 50 year old actress on the red carpet, there was a picture of Joan Crawford, comparing the two similar styles.

Who wore it better! I always like to find the glamour of classic Hollywood when I can. Over the weekend Julia Roberts looked stunning in this gorgeous full length gown designed by Dsquared2 and in a little way has brought back the shoulder pad to the red carpet at the Toronto film festival. I love it. Full length stylish classic elegance. 👌❤️#hollywood #hollywoodcostume #hollywoodglamour #hollywoodcostumes #costume #costumedesign #classichollywood #film #fashion #filmcostume #fashioninfilm #style #vogue #vintage #military #joancrawford #gay #instagay #instalike #brisbane #design #designers #adrian #mgm #juliaroberts #prettywoman #toronto #canada #gown #gowns
But while there is no doubt that they both looked stunning, not everybody agrees with that.
As a result, one social media user slammed Roberts, saying: ‘Joan Crawford looks way better in my opinion, more classic and refined and Julia is wearing ugly black nail polish!’
That is when Julia Roberts clapped back, writing: ‘It is, in fact, a navy polish with garnets crystals as a grounding accent. In case you would like to edit your comment from ‘ugly black nail polish’ to ugly navy polish with Garnet crystals. Just sayin’.’ Such a sassy response!
A lot of fans were quick to also praise her on the inspired comment.
Speaking of her social media activity, Roberts was actually asked about it during the weekend while at the premiere of Homecoming at TIFF.
ET’s Keltie Knight was curious to know if the 50 year old star took a lot of selfies for her Instagram account before finally choosing the best one to post.
‘I don’t. I probably should do that! I guess that is what I should do,’ she answered.
