According to a report from Us Weekly, Amanda Stanton’s domestic violence case was dismissed by a judge in Las Vegas, Nevada, on the 12th of December, Wednesday, 2018. The news of the closed case comes approximately 3 months after Amanda was first arrested.
In September, the authorities had to take Ms. Stanton into custody for supposedly attacking her boyfriend, Bobby Jacobs, in a hotel room in Vegas.
In the documents obtained by Us Weekly, it was revealed that Jacobs was asleep when the 28-year-old The Bachelor alum came into the room following a Magic Mike show with the rest of her friends.
While he was in bed, Amanda apparently began screaming at him for not answering her phone calls and text messages and proceeded to strike him.
Reportedly, the documents claim that despite the fact Amanda and Bobby have stayed together, they frequently get into fights on the regular. It’s a common occurrence for them to get in heated fights.
In the papers, it was revealed that Stanton had “swung” at Bobby, even throwing the hotel telephone at him. During the wrestling match afterward, Mr. Bobby had to hold her down because she kept scratching and pinching him all over his body.
Stanton defended these actions by saying she was trying to get free from him and his grasp. After fighting for a while, Stanton ran from Bobby and locked herself in the bathroom.
Following the incident, Stanton’s representative released a statement to Us Weekly in which she and her rep stated that she was embarrassed by her past behavior and was sorry such a thing had ever even occurred. It’s not like her to involve herself in such petty and childish altercations.
Just a few hours before she appeared at the court, Stanton and Jacobs shared pictures of each other online in which they appeared to look happy and fulfilled. Sources close to the couple say that “they’re just trying to keep things together for the longest they can manage.”
