Josh Duhamel Praises His Ex Fergie After Her National Anthem Backlash: ‘She’s An Amazing Woman’

Despite the fact that they are no longer romantically involved, Josh Duhamel and Fergie seem to be still super close! Following the singer’s huge national anthem performance fail, her ex made sure to console her in person and now he’s even defending her publicly!
Josh stopped by Ellen DeGeneres’ show and talked about Fergie in a way that would make you think they were still together if you didn’t know any better!
‘I think she’d probably admit it was not her best work, but the girl’s crazy talented. She really is. She is an amazing woman — an amazing human being, really. It is hard to see somebody you care about getting beat up like that. That is the business, you know? You are in this business. You put yourself out there. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you lose,’ he told Ellen during his interview.
Wouldn’t you say that they are the friendliest exes you have ever seen?
Ellen then asked Duhamel how Fergie has been coping with the backlash and he told everyone that she is definitely doing quite Okay as she’s a strong woman.
‘Trust me, she is fine. She’s about as resilient as they come.’
But she is human after all, so having her ex and their toddler son show up to console her after the scandal helped Fergie get over it a lot faster.
Josh also brought her a bouquet of beautiful pink roses.
Soon after the whole thing took place, Duhamel also posted on social media a quote from their four-year-old son Axl, reading: ‘Love is so strong. Love cannot be broken. Love is so strong nobody can break it, not even Hulk.’
