Jordyn Woods and Jeremy Meeks, the unlikely duo, will team up together in the new independent thriller movie, Trigger. The 22-year-old social media personality posted the trailer on her IG this past Thursday, and it accrued around 250,000 views from 11 million followers in less than 24 hours.
Additionally, Jeremy Meeks, who famously became a nationwide celebrity when his mug shot went viral, also shared the clip on his social media account which includes 1.6 million Instagram followers. Reportedly, Woods still star as the wife of Wesley Johnathan, who’s unhappy when Meeks’ character shows up at the home.
The movie revolves around a dinner party gone wrong, where guests get too much food which leads to the death of a drunken man at the hands of Meeks. The Daily Mail claims that the rest of the plot looks at the consequences of the accidental death and the effect it has on each involved person’s life.
Woods, who was once the best friend of Kylie Jenner, 22, strayed away from the Kar-Jenner path and on to Hollywood when it was reported she had hooked up with Khloe Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Fans of Woods know she has actually announced the role before, including during an interview with Life and Style, in which she revealed she hadn’t gotten lessons or anything before acting. She just went for it, as she put it, and it wound up “paying off.”
Furthermore, Jordyn has other projects in the works in case her movie career doesn’t work out the way she plans. It’s called Boohoo x Jordyn Woods, an online retailer that sells her clothing. Other reports have indicated that she’ll be the Kangaroo on The Masked Singer for Fox.
Jeremy Meeks, on the other hand, who recently split up with the TopShop heiress, Chloe Green, moved toward an acting career after a successful career in modeling.
As it was noted above, Jeremy first became famous back in 2014 for his viral mugshot. He split up with the mother of his children at the time after hitting it big.
