As fans remember, back in May, J.D. Scott was hospitalized after a health scare and it was so bad that he apparently thought he was dying. It’s been four months since then and now, his brothers, Drew and Jonathan are updating the public on how he’s been doing.

Furthermore, the Property Brothers stars also teased some details about his wedding!

When J.D. was rushed to the hospital, he experienced some really bad, mysterious symptoms such as feeling like his very skin was ‘on fire’ as well as ‘passing out.’

Later on, he revealed in a post that he really feared he was dying while in the hospital.

During an interview for HollywoodLife, however, J.D.’s brothers had some great news to share.

‘J.D.’s doing great and our family [is] very, very close and so we’re always there to support each other. Our parents as well, the whole gang, we see each other as much as possible and it was actually really great,’ Jonathan shared with the news outlet.

In fact, he recovered so much that he even went on a trip outside the country with his siblings.

‘J.D.’s been doing very well and he came with us and so did his fiancée to Latin America for a press tour. So it is kind of nice to get away and enjoy time together,’ Jonathan went on to also share.

As for his final diagnosis, J.D. told his followers that much worse possibilities such as lupus and a brain aneurysm had been ruled out.

What he actually had was a ‘bad GI infection that which has been fixed.’

Furthermore, he suffered from ‘acute mercury poisoning.’

The levels of it were so high that even the health department needed to get involved.

Now that everything is well, J.D. has wedding preparations to focus on.
