Jon Gosselin Denies That He Abused His Son -- Blames Kate Gosselin For Giving Him PTSD
Just a few months ago Jon and Kate Gosselin's son was praising his father and father's girlfriend for saving his life. Recently, he took to Instagram to say that his dad abused him.
According to Jon, there's way more to the story.
Collin took to social media where he posted and deleted a message that read: 'My dad is a liar. Yesterday he beat me up and thought nothing of it, he punched me in the face and gave me a swollen nose and I started bleeding. He then continued to kick me in the ribs after I was on the floor. He is a liar.'
That's when Kate spoke to the press to say that Jon should not punch or kick a child.
Jon is fed up with the different reports going around stating that there is an open case with child services.
He explained that Collin and his sister got into a fight on the way home from the dentist. He went on to say the 16-year-old was angry and that's when he left the house.
Collin called the police who arrived and didn't see any sign of abuse. Jon took away his XBOX and that's when he made the post.
As far as Kate's comments, he explained to the Daily Mail: 'She hasn't seen Collin in five years and now she's going to try to come out as the caring mother when in fact the reason Collin is struggling with mental illness is because she abused him. He has PTSD because of her. So I'm not going to sit back and not defend myself or my family.'
He went on to say that dealing with a child with mental illness is a challenge.
'Dealing with a child with mental health issues is taxing, I'm taxed. But I love my son. I will not give up. I go to therapy, we all go to family therapy, to deal with having a son that has been traumatized and abused by his mother.'
Hopefully, the family can find a way to work it out.
