John Legend has stirred up some controversy by claiming in a joking manner that First Lady Melania Trump seems to be much more interested in Justin Trudeau, prime minister of Canada, than with her husband, President Donald Trump.
The infamous kiss between the Melania and Trudeau took place at the G7 summit in France in August. This came shortly after The Donald’s dramatic comment about John and his wife, Chrissy Teigen.
Trump said: “When all of the people pushing so hard for Criminal Justice Reform were unable to come even close to getting it done, they came to me as a group and asked for my help. I got it done with a group of Senators & others who would never have gone for it,”
He added: “Obama couldn’t come close, and many others were profusely grateful (at that time!). I SIGNED IT INTO LAW, no one else did, & Republicans deserve much credit. But now that it is passed, people that had virtually nothing to do with it are taking the praise. Guys like boring musician @johnlegend, and his filthy-mouthed wife, are talking now about how great it is—but I didn’t see them around when we needed help getting it passed.”
It looked like John has no plans to succumb to POTUS’ provocation attempts, and he instead threw the ball right back in his court, pointing out something that many others have been discussing actively in the last few weeks in a humorous manner.

Many predict that John might be getting on The Donald’s nerves for posting a video accusing Melania’s of lusting over another politician.
Mr. Trump has been making controversial statements lately, many of which have been directly targeted attacks at various opponents of his.
It is not clear why the president has chosen this path of behavior at the moment, but political pundits say he is going through a critical period in his career leading up to the 2020 elections.
However, some have pointed out that what the former reality TV star is doing is not too far off from his normal behavior.
The wild antics are ways to ramp up the excitement in his camps by giving his crowds precisely what they have always wanted — lots of spicy drama.
