John Legend also shared some photos from the party on his LVE Wines Instagram page. Legend was asked why he thoughts the public enjoyed buying wine from celebrities.
John stated the following.
"Part of it is experiential and who the person is. I think people connect my music with romance and serenity, and soulfulness and a certain vibe. Wine goes really well with that perception of me. I always thought it made sense, and then we also made the connection more explicit by doing wine tastings at my shows."
John also explained that he joined forces with the established Jean-Charles Boisset at Raymond Vineyards rather than delving into the wine business on his own. For that, he is extremely grateful as he says he is working with industry leaders and experts who are helping him bypass the struggles he would face if he were doing this without their expertise.
