As fans of the show definitely know, Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard got in trouble after he displayed intolerant behavior towards transgender teen Jazz Jennings. As a consequence, the man was fired from Counting On.
However, it looks like the couple still likes to show up at public events, but only to those within their comfort zone – the church.
Jill took to social media to share that they ‘Had a great time at #nightoshine event tonight at the church! We were in the red carpet/paparazzi team! So fun! @crosschurch.’
The woman did not explain what exactly the ‘red carpet’ team was.
However, their Arkansas Cross Church’s website stated that: ‘This wonderful event is to celebrate and love our neighbors with special needs.’
We also learned from one of the Dillard’s followers that their sons were also in attendance at the ‘red carpet’ worthy event at their church.
‘I was right beside you all last night. Seeing such happiness on all of your faces – what a joy to be a part of! I hope all of the participants had a night to remember. Your babies were so sweet and well-behaved too,’ the fan wrote.
But of course, Jill’s newest post was not only well received as some fans seemed let-down by the family’s choices lately.
‘It looks like your church has a lot of events that do not have anything to do with God @jillmdillard @derickdillard …you guys have changed, and I would not say for the better,’ one disappointed fan commented.
What do you think about what the pair has been up to ever since the network cut all ties with Derick?
