Ever since it was confirmed that Jessie J is now dating Channing Tatum, the singer has been compared to his ex, Jenna Dewan on social media and even in the press and it looks like she’s sick and tired of it! Fans have been generally super supportive of the relationship but most online comments are focusing on how Jessie and Jenna look alike, and that's not what she's about at all!

While users may not think too much of it when they say this, it turns out that Jessie J is already over being compared to her new man’s ex!

Jessie took to social media to address a particular news story about the two women and who is prettier.

After making it very clear that she sometimes sees them being compared online and that she usually ignores it, Jessie J went on to state: ‘I have tried to find something positive from this article…I am yet to. Who feels good from this story? I know I do not. Who does this story inspire?...? Is picking who's prettier and then continuing to say why a good activity for women to participate in? No.’ Preach!

‘I'm talking in general too. It is constant with women. Picking favorites. Do the media do it to men? No. Are women gaining any positive lessons from it? No. You only have to look at a few of the comments to see that these stories aren't inspiring women but mostly women ripping other women down,’ she added.

The songstress expressed her disappointment at the fact that she is now involved in something she doesn’t stand for!

Jessie J also explained that she understands all too well the sort of impact such surface comparisons of women to other women has on young girls and their sense of worth.
