Jessica Alba And Gabrielle Union Are Having A Blast On The Set Of The New Bad Boys Spin-Off
Female-driven storylines have really taken off in recent times. Because of this, studios are starting to back more premises with women at the helm. This is certainly the case for the new Bad Boys TV show spin-off that features Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union playing partners in the LAPD.
Union, who was cast in the Bad Boys 2 role as a special agent, will reprise her role and her new partner, played by Alba, is a veteran cop and working mother.
The latter is very familiar to Alba as she gave birth to her third child, a boy, on New Year's Eve, just four months ago.
Alba is a regular pro at this juggling motherhood and work thing. In recent years, she's focused solely on the creation of the Honest Company, which has exploded in popularity and is now worth over $1 billion.
Both Union and Alba have been giving a behind the scene look at how shooting the pilot episode is going.
Unlike other spin-offs, this show will actually tie in elements of the film.
Alba recently posted on Instagram, letting her followers know that they had finished the pilot but the still untitled show needed a name.
Last week, to show their appreciation for the crew that worked so hard on the set of the pilot, Alba and Union brought in some good eats for everyone to enjoy.
Alba and Union have actually known each other and been friends for quite some time. That may be one of the reasons Alba signed on to do the show in the first place, as she's taken quite the break from acting.
Union showed her appreciation, respect, and love for Alba recently by dedicating an Instagram post to her multi-faceted, hardworking friend.
Union dubbed Alba her Woman Crush Wednesday and praising her for how she conducts her business, her projects, and her family.
Both of these women are really showing how to balance it all while being married, having kids, juggling multiple projects and staying as fierce as possible.
Union just celebrated a birthday and she's making 45 look like the new 25 and causing the rest of us to rethink our skincare and health regimens.
