The holiday season is here, and celebrities continue making charitable moves. Among the most recent ones is that Jermaine Dupri decided to give back to the community.

The Shade Room has all the details, and they revealed that Dupri made sure to make a kind gesture as well, and he teamed up with PETA in order to help give families in need some happiness for Thanksgiving.

'JD hit the streets of Atlanta, passing out meals that included roasted vegan turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and vegan pumpkin pie. For those who don’t know Jermaine Dupri has been vegan for years and has encouraged a lot of people to try going vegan. Love to see this type of energy!' TSR posted.

While a lot of people supported Dupri's gesture, there were also followers who believe that it's completely inappropriate to give vegan meals to people in need who might not have had a chance to eat normal food in God knows how long.

A follower said: 'I’ll support peta when I see them care about people of color and donate to good causes.'

Someone else posted this: 'It's always a bigger blessing to be able to give back and help those in need #HappyThanksgiving ❤'

Another commenter said: 'Appreciate How These Artist Putting In A Effort To Feed Those Who Hungry😕 Too Bad These Young Dudes Barely Know Anything Bout That💯😴'

One commenter exclaimed: 'Vegan meals? These people haven't eaten good in a while at least give em real food.'

What do you think about Dupri's gesture and people's debate in the comments?

Good for him! I've been vegan for more than 27 years. Best decision ever. On Thanksgiving, I stuffed myself with vegan versions of the traditional favorites, including mashed potatoes, green bean bake, and stuffing, in addition to vegan turkey. Yum!
