While he’s still battling COVID-19, Jeremih’s family is asking fans for prayers! After all, it sounds like his health is in a really bad state as one rep shared via ET that the illness has ‘viciously attacked his body’ and that he is on a ventilator.

The rep stated via the news outlet that ‘Jeremih is currently battling severe COVID-19 health complications. He’s in the ICU on a ventilator to help him breathe. The COVID-19 condition he’s experiencing is rare for a man his age without any underlying conditions. Jeremih's family would like to remind the world COVID-19 is real and not something to be taken lightly. Also, it is important for people infected to quarantine and to let their families and friends know ASAP.’

They went on: ‘There’s no shame in contracting COVID-19, and people that have it need to be responsible and considerate of others. Everyone diagnosed with COVID-19 is affected differently, Unfortunately for Jeremih, COVID-19 viciously attacked his body. The family's very grateful for everyone who is praying, and we ask for continued prayers. The family believes daily prayers to God and a great team of doctors and nurses is helping him pull through.’

To conclude the message, the rep confirmed that progress has been made, although Jeremih is definitely not ‘out of the woods’ at this time.

Still, they stressed that those who love him are hoping he will soon be able to breathe on his own again and make a full recovery as well, of course.

Ever since it was announced that Jeremih was hospitalized due to his COVID-19 diagnosis, many fellow celebs have been sending their well wishes, including Chance the Rapper, 50 Cent, Big Sean, Toni Braxton and many more!

As you may know, the United States is currently at the epicenter of the global COVID-19 pandemic with more than 11.6 million cases confirmed.
