Jennifer Lopez appeared on CBS Sunday Morning and opened up about living her life in the public spotlight and how she deals with negativity. Jennifer has been through a lot in her career and in 1999 spent 14 hours in jail after a nightclub shootout occurred. She and ex-boyfriend Diddy were arrested. Though charges were eventually dropped, JLo had her first real encounter with negative publicity. Fast forward to 2019, and Jennifer knows how to handle being a celebrity and she does so like a boss.
Speaking to CBS, Jennifer said that she is confident in who she is and lives her life the best she can. She said that now that she is older, the negative press doesn’t bother her anymore. She knows that people will say what they want, but she lives her life in a way that makes her proud. She explained that she knows who she is and works on being the best person she can be and that is all she can do.

#JLO YESTERDAY ON @cbssundaymorning ask yourself the question Do you know who you are? There is no secret why @jlo continues to shine, I know for myself Working together on @marrymemovie was the best moment of 2019 I haven’t met anyone as special since I started doing hair, she surrounds herself with light, and genuinely wants the people around her to be the best version of themselves. Hard work, determination, and good energy. Thank you Jen for just being you! Stepping into #2020 with a different mindset.#limitless 💇🏽♀️@psxdanielle 👗 @marielhaenn x @robzangardi 💄 @scottbarnes68
