Jennifer Lopez Reveals Why She Chose Not To Give Cardi B Pregnancy Advice

Even though Jennifer Lopez has approximately ten years of experience as a mother, she’s not entirely willing to go around giving advice to young mothers, and for a simple reason.
According to Lopez, sometimes it’s better to avoid giving unsolicited advice because a mom just doesn’t need to hear it. It’s hard enough to deal with the baby’s erratic sleeping hours, that one doesn’t need the added pressure of unrequested peer advice.
When the singer sat down with Music Choice, she dished on Cardi B and her baby, Kulture Kiari, and said that rather than offering words of wisdom, she asked her if she wanted to sit down instead.
The 49-year-old singer said, “I was just like, ‘Are you good? Do you want to sit down?'” Jennifer believes that is the sort of thing mothers need; just a little bit of “pampering” rather than telling them what to do.
According to Jennifer, It would be better not to give advice at all, because “nobody likes it.” Nobody likes to be lectured by another, it’s just human nature.
Jennifer said that when she was pregnant, she got fed up with all of the advice. At times, she wished people would stop telling her what to do because she just wanted to figure it out for herself.
Lopez said, “I know I’m not going to be perfect, but let me just do my thing. Everybody has so much advice for you.” Cardi, 25, along with the Migos rapper, Offset, welcomed baby Kulture into the world on the 10th of July.
Since then, social media loves Cardi B even more, now that she’s an infamous rapper as well as a mother. And while it’s great for people to help out others with a little advice now and then, J-Lo thinks it’s best to not say anything at all.
