Jennifer Lawrence stopped by CBS’ 60 Minutes and talked about how the news about Harvey Weinstein’s sexual misconduct scandal made her feel. It is safe to say that the actress got really candid about it!

‘What he did was criminal and deplorable, and when it came out, and I heard about it, I wanted to kill him. The way he destroyed so many women’s lives... I want to see him in jail,’ Jennifer stated.

As you probably know already, Weinstein was accused by a shocking number of women in the industry of sexual harassment and abuse.

Jen, as well as Meryl Streep, were not too long ago involved in the scandal without their consent (shocker!)when they were cited in a legal response that was filed by the disgraced producer’s legal team.

The said legal response actually cites the two actresses’ comments in the past using them as a defense of Harvey’s character.

‘Such women would include Jennifer Lawrence, who told Oprah she had known Weinstein since she was 20 years old and said 'he had only ever been nice to me,' and Meryl Streep, who stated publicly that Weinstein has always been respectful to her in their working relationship,’ the document reads.

Meryl Streep slammed the response, calling it ‘pathetic and exploitative.’

Meanwhile, Lawrence stated that: ‘Harvey Weinstein and his company are continuing to do what they’ve always done which is take things out of context and use them for their own benefit. This is what predators do, and it must stop. For the record, while I was not personally victimized by Harvey Weinstein, I stand behind all the women who have survived his terrible abuse, and I applaud them in using all means necessary to bring him to justice whether through criminal or civil actions. Time is up.’
