Apparently, despite the fact that they are no longer together, Jenna Dewan believes her relationship with Channing Tatum is not going to change a lot.
The star looks gorgeous on Vegas Magazine’s cover for the 15th-anniversary issue.
For the same publication, she opened up about her unexpected split from Channing after being married for no less than eight years!
About meeting her now ex for the first time, the beauty said: ‘We started as friends, and I’d say it was instant recognition. When we met [on the set of Step Up back in 2005] it felt like we’d known each other for many years.’
She went on to state that ‘Ultimately, no matter what Chan and I are doing, we are really great friends. I believe that will never change, no matter what.’ That sounds great!
Speaking of breakups, the actress also talked about her parents’ split and the way it affected her growing up.
‘My parents split when I was only one year old, and due to life circumstances, [my mom] had to pick herself up, get a job and became a single working mom. Moving so often completely informed my life and personality in positive ways.’
‘I learned social skills I do not think I would’ve [with] a different upbringing. In many ways, I’m really grateful for it. I am also conscious and aware of it, so it is something that [explains] how I am, who I am, and it has probably greatly prepared me for life in Hollywood.’
Dewan and Tatum announced their divorce last month in a joint statement that read: ‘absolutely nothing’s changed about how much we love each other, but love’s a beautiful adventure that’s taking us on different paths for now.’
They also made it very clear that they are not feuding or resenting each other in any way.
