Jenelle Evans Thinks ‘Everyone Is Overreacting’ About Her Husband David Eason's Homophobic Rant - 'He Was Just Venting!'
After being fired from Teen Mom following his extremely offensive rant about gay and transgender parents, David Eason has been getting a lot of support from his wife, Jenelle Evans. We have now learned from an insider just why the reality TV star is ignoring his mistake entirely and only showing him love on social media.
‘Jenelle thinks everyone’s totally overreacting to David’s tweets, and that it is just yet another case of people attacking her for nothing. She believes everyone’s just been dying to find something to attack David over since they first started dating. As far as she’s concerned, David was just venting — he is not used to life in the spotlight and is not versed in filtering what he tweets. She is standing by her husband 100 percent. David’s always told Jenelle that it is them against the world, and this latest attack against them is just more proof of that,’ our source explained.
As fans of the show remember, the whole scandal started on February 19 after one fan attacked his parenting skills in relation to his use of guns around their children.
‘And just what makes you think you have the right to tell me how to be a parent? Because you think you know me? Lmao, why don’t you go tell the homo and transgender parents to start teaching their kids better morals? Oh, I forgot that is supposed to be normal,’ he tweeted in response.
But as if that was not bad enough already he went on to say that he would never let his young ones ‘associate with’ any members of the LGBT community.
As you can imagine, people were not happy to hear such blatant hate speech in this day and age, but Jenelle proceeded to (unsuccessfully) defend her husband anyway: ‘David does not hate people from the LGBT community. My old manager was gay and used to be one of me and David’s close friends.’
