Just hours before Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans planned to walk down the aisle and marry David Eason, multiple sources are reporting that she has called off the wedding. The couple had planned a ceremony for September 23rd at their new home in North Carolina, but now it seems the event will not take place.
Ashley’s Reality Roundup claims that Evans and Eason started fighting yesterday as a result of wedding preparations being behind schedule. Planning a wedding is stressful, and it seems things were not falling into place the way the couple had hoped. Sources reveal that the dance floor for the reception tent never arrived and the sod installation was going slowly.
A team of workers filled the wedding site to prepare for the ceremony, and according to Eason, Evans was not willing to help.
“When I’m out here working constantly, every f***ing minute of the day, she’s sitting around,” he told Radar Online. “This place looks different every day. It’s all because of me. These people wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for me.”
Jenelle Evans apparently expected Eason’s full attention and support for the many emotional issues surrounding the big day but grew livid that he decided to work on the event site instead of paying attention to her.
The biggest issue for Evans was the fact that her estranged mother Barbara would not be attending the wedding. Sources say she told a friend that she had been crying all day and wanted Eason’s attention to talk about the mom situation. She took his focus on getting the venue prepared instead of attending to her as proof that he didn’t care about her feelings.
The 25-year-old mother of three allegedly screamed at her fiancé, complaining that he wasn’t thinking about her, then told him she was done and slammed her diamond engagement ring on the table. She then angrily drove away.
The dramatic confrontation took place in front of guests who had arrived for the rehearsal dinner.
Later, Evans returned, so she could cry it out with friends while her three-year-old son Kaiser played in the backyard.
