Despite the fact that she previously admitted to being scared for her and her kids’ life because of her ex, David Eason, Jenelle Evans took everyone by surprise by reuniting with the estranged husband earlier this month. Seeing the former Teen Mom star with David and their daughter Ensley in Nashville on January 14 was definitely unexpected but it’s better if people don’t read too much into it!
In other words, they were not spending time together because they’ve reunited or are even planning to.
One insider tells HollywoodLife that ‘Jenelle was with David because Jenelle wants to have a pretty surface level friendship with David just to make it easier with the co-parenting with their shared one, not because they’re working on getting back together. She has already told those close to her that if he shows any sign of aggression or anger she is taking their daughter and leaving. She will not stand for that.’
As fans remember, it has been almost three months since Jenelle decided to separate from the controversial man and move away with her kids, the daughter they share together included.
According to the source, the reality TV star is not giving David any free passes despite the fact that she has actually filed to dismiss her initial restraining order against him.
The reason why she did it is that he can see his daughter, Ensley from now on.
Still, Jenelle is ‘trying to remain strong for her kids’ since she still does not really feel safe around David.
As mentioned before, in court documents previously obtained by E! News, she declared that: ‘Because of [David’s] recent threats, history of violence, erratic behavior as well as his large stockpile of weapons, I am scared for my life and my children’s well-being.’
Before putting an end to their very toxic relationship, Jenelle and David were married for two years.
