Jen Harley was a somber sight to see when she appeared in public with her daughter Ariana Magro after her domestic-violence-turned-kidnapping situation with Ronnie Magro. The mother was bruised and battered but the exes disagree on how she got the marks.

In new photos, Harley has a sizable purple bruise on her shoulder. It was reported that she also has one on her leg along with cuts and scrapes from the scary altercation.

Jen allegedly claims that they came from Ron, who dragged her across the driveway of the Airbnb they were renting in LA at the time of the incident. Meanwhile, sources close to the Jersey Shore Family Vacation star say that his baby mama got the shoulder bruise from when she reportedly dangled the baby over a neighbor's fence while the leg bruise comes from her holding on to Ron's leg as he took Ariana away from her.

As far as why they were fighting over who should have the infant, Jen told cops that he was on a coke-binge while Ronnie claimed Harley had been heavily drinking all day.

There are inconsistencies in the stories from both parties which is why the reality star's lawyer recently made a statement.

'The reporting of the alleged incident relating to Ronnie Magro this morning is based upon pure speculation and innuendo. We are currently conducting our own investigation and will have no further comment until that has been concluded.'

For now, Jen is under an emergency protective order stating that Magro has to stay away from her until October 11th -- but he can see the baby via a third party-exchange.

She is expected to get a restraining order before the time of the protective order runs out.

If there is one thing that is clear, the parents will be in trouble with Child Protective Services if they don't figure out how to co-parent.
