According to the latest news, Jay Z and Beyonce, together with The Robin Hood Foundation, an organization that fights poverty, will hold a Tidal charity concert on October 15. New York Post released some information on this topic and it appears that the concert will also feature artists such as Lil’ Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Lauryn Hill. The show will be taking place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Oddly enough, no Tidal representative wanted to comment on the recent news.
The tickets for the show will range between $50 and $100,000 if you want a VIP package. The money will go to Robin Hood, organization that takes care of education for the children living in NYC and charities which are chosen by the artists themselves. If you don’t have enough money or you simply can’t make it to the concert, rest assured that you will be able to see it on Tidal too, since it will be live-streamed there.
This event follows the Tidal X show which is held in October also at Barclay’s Center. This separate show includes in its turn lots of artists, even Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Wayne, Beyonce, Jay Z, Meek Mill, Rick Ross and many, many more.
Many fans have commented online that they appreciate a lot the gesture of the artists to participate in a charitable concert. The foundation is thus hoping to raise enough money for all the projects they are currently involved in and the ones they want to start up in the future. Of course, the organization itself is getting the support of many artists and celebrities, which is a win-win situation: they get a plus for their image and gather even more fans, while the foundation manages to get funds to help kids in need and other people in difficult situations living in New York.
