Jax Taylor has been doing major damage control after it was revealed that he cheated on Brittany Cartwright with her friend and co-worker, Faith Stowers. Most of his comments have been agreeing about how wrong he was for being unfaithful, but when one fan asked how he handles the criticism — he reveals his true thoughts.
“@mrjaxtaylor You get shit on a lot by tons of people, does it ever bother you? How do you brush those things away?” the fan tweeted.
Jax responded in a way that seemingly shades the very network that employs him by saying: “God no… could care less what people say.. your watching a 45 min of a highly edited show.. so many things you don’t see. But it’s ok. People like to hide behind social media makes hem feel cool. I get it.”
Many reality stars, from Joseline Hernandez to Masika Kalysha, have complained in the past about how they’re portrayed on screen due to the scenes that get left out or rearranged during the editing process.
This comes after Taylor admitted to sleeping with Stowers while he and Brittany were going through a rough patch. Even though Jax was clearly in the wrong, the 38-year-old made comments such as “What am I gaining from this? A girlfriend?” and “I wish [Brittany] would just hook up with another girl so we could be even” making viewers believe that he’s not really sorry for what he did and that he will do it again.
Jax elaborated on his comment in another tweet stating: “Not contrived just a lot happens that you don’t see because of time, how fights start or end or issues that are important that don’t make the cut. You see black and white a TON!! of detail gets left out. But that’s tv.”
One thing that wasn’t edited was the fact that Taylor stepped out on his relationship and we hope that he has truly learned from his mistakes.
