Superstar singer Janet Jackson is not yet officially divorced from her billionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana, but according to sources, she has already moved on with her former boyfriend, music producer Jermaine Dupri. Is it possible that Jackson is already planning wedding number four?
Radar Online is reporting that Jackson will marry Dupri after her divorce from the Qatari businessman is final. The couple, who share son Eissa, split in April just four months after Jackson gave birth and have been locked in a tough custody battle ever since.
Surprisingly, the 51-year-old’s mother, Katherine, is on board with her marrying Dupri after she watched her disastrous marriage with Al Mana unravel.
Jackson and Dupri dated for eight years – from 2001 to 2009 – before they split, but they remained good friends, and Jackson said they “were still connected.”

When they originally dated, Katherine was not a fan of Dupri, often complaining when they dated the first time around that her daughter could do much better. But after seeing how controlling Al Mana was during his marriage to Jackson, cutting her off from her family and being verbally abusive, Katherine is now on board with the thought of Dupri being the man in her daughter’s life.
She believes he is a much better option and the Rhythm Nation singer needs to be with someone she feels safe with.
Jackson recently wrapped her State of the World tour and celebrated with an exclusive party at STK restaurant in Atlanta. But, according to People Magazine, friends were shocked when Jackson and Dupri spent some private time together and cuddled in a booth while holding hands.
Insiders say their breakup in 2009 was a bad one, with Dupri feeling that Jackson wronged him. But, they reconnected about a year ago, and he was there for her during her split with Al Mana. They are taking their time to get to know each other again, and have not made their relationship public, yet.
Apparently, the feelings are still there, and they are strong. Friends say that she has never been happier than she is with Dupri.
Jackson got married the first time to James DeBarge, but it only lasted a year. She later wed music video director Rene Elizondo Jr. in 1991, but they split after nine years of marriage in 2000.
That’s when Jackson started dating Dupri, and they remained together for eight years before ending their romance. She then married Al Mana in 2012.
Janet Jackson spent the holidays with her son laying by a pool in Miami. He slept as she carried him to the water, but he eventually woke up and enjoyed sitting on his mom’s lap.
