As it turns out, the singer is set to star in Sweet Magnolias, an upcoming show on the streaming platform.
‘@jamielynnspears has joined the #SweetMagnolias cast, a new series based on the book series by Sherryl Woods. Spears will be playing Noreen Fitzgibbons, a young woman determined to build a new life for herself after a series of bad choices,’ the tweet reads.

The character played by Jamie Lynn, Noreen, is a young woman who moves to the small town of Serenity for a nurse job.
However, following a number of unfortunate choices, she needs to build herself a brand new life there and she is determined to succeed.
Britney Spears’ sister will be starring alongside Brook Elliott, Monica Potter, Heather Headley, Justin Bruening and Chris Klein.

Her last acting role was way back in 2008, on the ABC sitcom Miss Guided.
Ever since then, she’s only been on the screens as herself in projects such as the E! documentary about her sister, I Am Britney Jean or as a guest on TV talk shows such as The Talk!
