Jada Pinkett Smith Says She Needed Some Convincing From Husband Will To Let Jordyn Woods On Her Show After Her Drama With Tristan Thompson

During a brand new interview, Jada Pinkett Smith talked about Jordyn Woods stopping by her Facebook show, Red Table Talk shortly after her scandal with Tristan Thompson and getting shunned by the KarJenners as a result.
The actress tells HollywoodLife that the whole thing was definitely quite a ‘learning experience’ for both Jordyn and her!
As fans know, the model is a longtime family friend of the Smiths and so, after the drama with the basketball player, she offered to give Jordyn the proper platform to tell her side of the story.
While at the London screening of her sow, Jada recalled that ‘It was a learning experience for me since Jordyn’s like a daughter to me. But I also had to have an objective point of view. I needed to be able to see it from every angle. That was tough. I had to not go in and just go ‘rah, rah, rah,’ – but to go, ‘okay, let’s hear your story, and let’s also have compassion for the other side.’’
As it turns out, letting Jordyn speak out on Red Table Talk was something she needed convincing by her husband Will Smith.
Jada admitted that ‘I was really weary at first because I did not think I could do her justice because I was so close to her. I was like, ‘Will, she’s got one f***ing shot. I can’t f**k this up! There has to be someone else who can do this.’’
In the end, it was, as mentioned before, a true learning experience for the actress and talk show host since she needed to be objective during the chat with Jordyn.
That’s not to say she was not happy about giving her the platform in the end, since it made the model happy as well, and that’s all that Jada wanted.
