Jada Pinkett Smith Responds To Leah Remini's Scientology Claims: 'I Am Not A Scientologist'
Jada Pinkett Smith wanted to let her fans know that she practices nothing else but ‘human kindness’ following Leah Remini’s claims that she is a Scientologist. Remini stated that she became aware Jada was part of the Church after she revealed she’s played hide and seek with Tom Cruise before.
The Scientology critic recalled the events differently in her tell-all Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.
In her book, Leah Remini wrote that Cruise requested they all played hide and seek during a party he hosted.
The bash was attended by many A-list celebrities such as Pinkett Smith.
‘At first, I thought he was joking. But no, he literally wanted to play hide-and-seek with a bunch of grown-ups in what was probably close to a 7,000-square-foot house on almost three full acres of secluded land,’ the actress recalled in her book.
But Pinkett Smith said Tom just wanted to make the event more fun for the kids who played as well.
Remini seems pretty sure Jada has been part of the cult for a long time, especially because Will’s wife allegedly lied about kids being involved in the odd hide and seek game.
She admitted she’s never seen her husband Will Smith at the Celebrity Center, but she did see Jada.
This morning, Jada Pinkett Smith took to social media to deny Leah Remini’s claims, saying that she is a very spiritual person and likes to know about and experience different rites that are practiced in different religions but she doesn’t really identify with neither of them.
She even admitted she’s studied Dianetics and sees the merits of Study Tech but that doesn’t make her a Scientologist either.
From her point of view, she just practices ‘human kindness.’
