Jada Pinkett Smith And Daughter Willow Working On A Song Together!

Exciting news for the fans! It looks like Jada Pinkett Smith and her daughter Willow are working on some new music – together! The actress revealed this info during an interview with Billboard.
As you may already be aware, the mother and daughter can already be seen together quite a lot on the mother’s Red Table Talk series in Facebook.
‘I actually have a song with Willow that we did together. It’s called ‘Dear Father’ and we are still working on it. But it’s pretty dope. Willow has always wanted to do some stuff with me. She grew up with Wicked Wisdom on tour so it’s always been her dream to play with the band and play with me on stage. It’s really fun. So we’re thinking about doing four songs or something,’ Jada dished.
Willow has been releasing music by herself throughout the years, but her biggest hit is still the iconic Whip My Hair that she released when she was no older than ten.
Unfortunately, the fame she got basically overnight as a child affected her mental state quite a lot, something she got candid about on Red Table Talk.
While Jada and Will Smith had the ‘survival mentality,’ meaning that they wanted her to develop a career early on and be set for life, Willow criticized their approach: ‘Just that the values of the people around me should have been the opposite. You and Daddy should have been like, ‘OK, we value her musical growth and knowledge more than her popularity.’’
Now that Willow is pretty much all grown up, she can now manage her own musical career and she enjoys music once again because of that. Are you looking forward to listening to the mother-daughter collab song?
