Jada Pinkett Smith Admits She Was The One To Blame For Her Feud With Gabrielle Union
Jada Pinkett Smith explained in more detail what exactly happened between her and Gabrielle Union. As you may be aware already, the two women used to be friends, but then they had a fallout. Their feud continued to manifest itself for no less than 17 years before they made peace not too long ago.
Yesterday, during yet another episode of Jada’s Facebook show titled Red Table Talk, she explained what led to their longtime feud, admitting she might have been to blame.
During the talk show’s latest episode, she was chatting with her friends Mia Pitts and Karynne Tencer when she opened up about the time she and Gabrielle stopped being pals.
‘I think who I was back then was a young, egotistical girl who was just like, ‘OK, if she wants to have a problem with me that is fine, ’cause what difference does it make?’ And one of the points Gab brought up is that it makes a huge difference because, at the end of the day, there is only a handful of us in this business. And I think we grow older and we mature and realize that we really cannot appreciate yourself without appreciating other women,’ Jada explained.
She went on to highlight that ‘I was just young and stupid and not wanting to share. That's all that is. It’s ego.’
That is when the actress and the two friends invited on the talk show went on to talk about how important it is to help one another in the industry as well as in life.
As you may be aware, Jada and Gabrielle have already made peace earlier this week.
