Jackson Odell From “The Goldbergs” Passes Away Tragically At Age 20

According to reports, Jackson Odell, who appeared on the television series, The Goldbergs, passed away at the young age of 20 on the 8th of June. In a report from TMZ, Jackson, who appeared in numerous television shows and films, passed away in a sober living home in the San Fernando Valley.
When the authorities went to the scene to investigate after someone had called the police, they found him unresponsive, but there was no evidence of foul play. Odell’s career was just beginning in the scene, as he was getting regular roles and also working on soundtracks in popular films.
According to the Hollywood Gossip, Jackson started acting when he was just 12-years-old and had been in the film, Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer. Moreover, he starred in other productions including Arrested Development, iCarly, and Modern Family.
Not only did Jackson work as an actor, but he also was a creative singer-songwriter, as he wrote tracks for the soundtrack from the 2018 film, Forever Your Girl, as well as the song, “Wings Of An Angel.”
The last time he appeared on the red carpet for an interview was for the premiere of Forever Your Girl. It was back in January 2018 that Jackson talked about his experience working on the songs for the movie.
Odell said that “writing from a place of truth” was a huge deal for him, whether it’s about relationships, redemption, or catharsis.
Odell went on to say that he “draws inspiration” from wherever he finds those emotional truths. And he doesn’t necessarily draw from himself personally, but from progress and the feelings of others.
At the moment, it isn’t clear why the young actor passed away, but some sources say it was either suicide or a drug overdose. However, neither his representative or his family has confirmed if he died from either of the aforementioned causes.
