When it was first revealed that Jenni 'JWWoww' Farley had filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Roger Mathews, the father of two made it his goal to win his wife back. Unfortunately, it may be too little, too late.

Radar Online reports that the divorce case that JWoww filed on September 10 is still open regardless of the couple's united front that they've been putting on lately.

One month after news broke that Jenni was calling it quits, Roger planned out an extravagant and elaborate date night complete with dinner, flowers, and even a horse-drawn carriage ride.

On Halloween, the family coordinated costumes and went trick or treating as characters from Disney's "Moana."

Nearly two weeks later on October 13, Mathews randomly commented about how his wife finds him repulsive on Sammi Sweetheart's photo.

The estranged couple made another appearance as a united front at the Dreamworks Trolls the Experience in New York City on November 14.

Roger told US Weekly: "We’re here as a family today. We’re working on things yeah, absolutely. We spent eight years together so … I feel like there’s nothing that’s not fixable in our situation."

This all comes after Mathews took to Instagram to announce that the rumor of the split was true, but he wasn't going to give his family up just like that.

"My wife filed for divorce, it’s true. She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into … and [it was] not a good one. … I’m not done fighting, I’m gonna win my wife back. I’m gonna win her affection back."

The family will be spending Thanksgiving together.

Hopefully, the "Jersey Shore" star does whatever is in her best interest for her family; whether it means keeping it together or separating from her husband. Do you think the parents will end up stopping the divorce?
