Simply put, Iyanla Vanzant and Tamar Braxton don’t get along. Fans became even more aware of this dynamic following the latest season finale of Braxton Family Values.
However, more details have reared their head revolving around the life coach’s appearence and the way in which she looks at her nemesis.
Previously, Vanzant was meant to appear on the Braxton reality series to help the women of the family work out their issues. But things didn’t go the way she planned.
BET.com reports that Vanzant wants to take Tamar Braxton to court over the remarks Tamar made on social media. Moreover, Vanzant believes Tamar shouldn’t be on TV, to begin with.
The reason is that, in Vanzant’s view, Tamar is damaging her life and others. According to an insider, Iyanla believes Tamar is the type of person who needs and craves attention, and she’ll even go to life-ruining lengths to be the centre of everyone else’s world.
Vanzant doesn’t believe that Tamar should be on TV due to its effect on her psyche. “It’s like she’s been given a platform to destroy her own life,” the insider explained. Additionally, Vanzant thinks Tamar may have a mental health disorder, claims the source.
“In her view,” the insider remarked, “Tamar is the type of person who needs help and she needs it fast, otherwise, there’s no telling how things will work out. One thing is for sure, however, and that’s the way in which reality TV is making her problems worse.”
Following the latest season of Braxton Family Values, the singer went on Twitter to thank all of her fans for taking the time to watch it. Braxton’s TV show, featuring Tamar, Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina, and Evelyn, airs on WE tv.
