America, meet your new first lady, not Melania Trump – she is staying at Trump Tower; we are talking about Ivanka Trump. Immediately after her husband won the White House, the Slovene-born American former model made it clear that she was not leaving New York because her nine-year-old son, Barron, has already started school. Mrs. Trump said she would travel to Washington whenever her husband needs her – translation – she will show up when there is a fancy dinner, wear a beautiful dress so he can show her off.
Melania also said that she would be focusing on bullying, which led to the speculation that maybe Barron has autism and is being teased at school. However, do not fear, Ivanka Trump will gladly substitute for her stepmother. A few days ago, reports came in that businesswoman and former fashion model and her husband, Jared Kushner, who is an unofficial advisor to Trump were house hunting in Washington.
Additional reporting claimed that the mother of three, who is the executive vice president of development & acquisitions at her father’s company, the Trump Organization, will step down to more or less be co-president with the billionaire.
This morning, news broke that she will take over Michelle Obama ‘s office. Ivanka Trump is set to inherit a large staff as she moves in the office space that is usually reserved for the first lady of the United States. The news is not that surprising; the 35-year-old entrepreneur is already the most powerful first daughter in American history.
She has already placed phones calls to many worlds leaders. She has shaped policies that her father hopes to implement after he is sworn into office. Moreover, when Nancy Pelosi, the minority leader of the House of Representatives, calls to talk to the president-elect, he hands the phone to his daughter.
She recently had a meeting with Al Gore to talk about climate change and was present as her father talked about issues affecting the black community with rapper Kanye West. Trump said in the past that he would love to have his daughter and her husband, as part of his administration. He said: “If you look at Ivanka — she’s so strongly, as you know, into the women’s issues and childcare, … nobody could do better than her.”
America, get ready for it, the Trumps are taking over.
