We have learned that the daughter of Sen. John McCain, Meghan McCain is set to join The View! According to a reliable source, she will start the gig pretty soon, more precisely at the beginning of next month and she will be working alongside Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Paula Faris, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg.

As fans of the hit show are definitely informed, Jedediah Bila, who used to be the conservative voice on the panel left after one year on The View and Meghan is now the one replacing her.

When her departure was announced, Behar told Bila: ‘It is great to have you here. We need someone [who] disagrees. ...It’s never been personal, and that has been good for the show.’

McCain has also left her old job at Fox News where she used to be a contributor.

She was a co-host on Outnumbered as well - a show on the same network.

The 32-year-old describes herself as a Republican but with liberal views on many issues of social interest.

McCain is expected to face off with Whoopi Goldberg who announced back in May that she is determined to stay on the panel for as long as ‘I need to be.’

‘This new administration is so inept, makes it hard to walk away. But, you know, the women are good and the table is settled and, you know, it will be fine. It will all be fine,’ Goldberg said about Trump’s presidency.

Are you happy with Bila’s replacement on The View? Do you think McCain is going to do a great job?
