Is Ellen Degeneres selling the Beverly Hills mansion she and Portia de Rossi purchased from Adam Levine? That’s the rumor going around and the topic that In Touch addressed in an article in their upcoming June 15, 2020, issue. Ellen has been having a rough time of it lately as many of her former employees have spoken out publicly to accuse the Emmy-winning talk show host of being downright cruel. It’s a huge blow to her reputation as Ellen has presented herself as someone who was bullied when she was young and faced hardship throughout her life. As an LGBTQ icon and role-model, it was always believed that Ellen was one of the most tolerant people in the business. To hear otherwise has left a lot of people confused and wondering what the real deal is.
Hollywood is all but shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the housing market is tumbling. The economy is facing a crisis and according to In Touch’s report, Ellen is set to lose millions on her purchase and is in panic mode, trying to sell the home before the economy deteriorates further.
The publication quoted a source that stated the following.
“She bought it for $42.5 million and has listed it for close to that. I’d be surprised if she gets $30 million. She’s feeling the housing crunch big-time. And she has so much of her money tied up in these homes, she could go broke!”
The source says that Ellen is even trying to sell her Montecito home!

In the meantime, Ellen has been hosting her show from her house and pledging to do more to help those who are being treated unfairly in the United States — specifically, black people. Ellen has vowed to do whatever she can to be part of the solution and not the problem.
What do you think about the reports that Ellen is selling her property? Have you heard the claims from her former employees who say she is one of the meanest people in all of Hollywood? Do you believe the claims?
