Is Cameron Diaz Retiring From Acting? Selma Blair Has The Scoop

Fans haven’t heard from Cameron Diaz in a long time leaving many to question where she’s been in the last three years. To make matters worse, Selma Blair added to the plethora of confusion when she spoke with reporters from Metro and claimed Diaz was finally tossing the towel in.
As a result of her absence from the entertainment industry, fans are slowly beginning to believe that she’s moved on to the creation of a family with Benji Madden, rather than continuing her career.
When speaking with Metro News, Selma said she and Cameron had been talking about The Sweetest Thing and how a sequel would be a lot of fun.
According to the actress, “Cameron retired from acting. She’s like, ‘I’m done.'” She went on to say that Cameron doesn’t need to make any more movies because she’s been in a bevy of them since beginning her career in the late 1990’s. Cameron made her debut on the silver screen in Jim Carrey’s The Mask.
??☎️??? BREAKING NEWS ???. Guys please, I was making a joke in an interview. CAMERON DIAZ is NOT retiring from ANYTHING. And for more breaking news: I am NOW retiring from being Cameron Diaz’s spokesperson. ?

However, just one day later, Selma said she was merely joking and doesn’t think Cameron is retiring. Blair explained that she is not Cameron’s spokesperson.
Furthermore, Diaz hasn’t responded publicly, and in the past, she’s made comments making people feel as though she has stepped back from Hollywood.
Diaz explained that she didn’t really know who she was and needed to take some time to figure that out and make herself “whole.”
Regarding her private life, she and Benji Madden have been trying to have a child together for a few years and rumor has it that they finally decided to adopt. On social media, Madden said he felt as though he was the “luckiest guy alive.”
