Instagram Model Layla Lace And Rapper Drake Settle Lawsuit After She Claimed He Impregnated Then Raped Her

One of Drake’s biggest problems of the last few years has finally come to its logical conclusion, as the Instagram model who made false allegations against him has finally lost her case.
As it was previously reported, model, Layla Lace, accused Drake of impregnating her and when she didn’t get what she wanted from him, then accused the Toronto native of sexually assaulting her.
In a statement to Page Six, Drake’s attorney said that “the filing made by Drake against Layla Lace has been resolved,” and Layla agreed not to ever make those remarks again.
As fans of the “In My Feelings,” star know, 32, he met the model back in February 2017 while on tour in Manchester, England, where he had sex with her in his hotel.
And just a few months afterward, Layla went on a Sirius XM Radio Show and said that she was pregnant with his kid. Drake and his team responded right away, stating that she wouldn’t get any money from him because he knew her claims were bogus.
When her allegations of pregnancy didn’t go as she thought they would, the Instagram star went to the New York City police and accused Drake of raping her when they had sex that one evening.
Furthermore, she demanded millions of dollars from him, which he obviously then denied. Drake sued her for abuse of process, defamation, fraud, emotional distress, as well as civil extortion.
Speaking with Page Six again, his lawyer said Drake and the rest of his team of representatives were very pleased with the outcome of the case and urged his fans to let him and Layla move on with their lives.
This is just one of many problems Drake has run into in the last year. Shortly after this case, it was rumored that he impregnated Sophie Brussaux, which turned out to be true.
Pusha-T spoke all about it in his track, “The Story Adidon,” in which he called Drake out for being a dead-beat dad as well as a scourge on the black and hip-hop community. Later, during an interview with LeBron James, Drake said that he was disappointed in Kanye West, whom he thinks told Pusha-T all of the things that Pusha later spoke about on his diss-track.
