Kenny Goss and George Michael had split in 2011 but despite that, the man was one of the first people to express their devastation upon finding out the legend passed.
It is understandable that feelings may still linger considering the two had a 13 year long relationship.
Now, Goss was spotted walking around the streets of Hollywood looking somber and ghostly.
In the photos taken by the paparazzi it can be seen that he is not alone however – Goss has found himself a new man, but still doesn’t look happy. True love is hard to forget.
Even though he is engaging in conversations with his handsome boyfriend his face remains stoic just as it was when he found out George Michael died.
Goss’ relationship with Michael now defines his life, as it has led to his most important work: a foundation in both men’s names for young and struggling artists.
As soon as the tragic news that George Michael had passed away on Christmas reached his ears, Goss immediately posted a heartbreaking tribute, mourning the loss.
“I’m heartbroken with the news that my dear friend and longtime love George Michael has passed.”
“He was a major part of my life and I loved him very, very much. He was an extremely kind and generous man.”
“The beautiful memories and music he brought to the world will always be an important part of my life and those who also loved and admired him.”
According to sources, Goss is on his way to England to make sure he is not going to miss Michael’s funeral.
When Michael disclosed his split from Goss in 2011, he admitted he had been battling addiction too.
“I love him very much. This man has brought me a lot of joy and pain,” he said.
“My love life has been a lot more turbulent than I’ve ever let on, and I’m so sad about my relationship with Kenny. I’m sorry for any pain.”
“My battles with substances are well documented. My partner has been through his own battle.”
Now, the foundation that incorporates the names of both men and that was put together when their love was still flourishing will live on as a reminder of what was and what could have been.
