As you may remember, Abby Lee Miller was led to believe that she would be released early from prison, but that ended up not happening! The Dance Moms star was simply devastated to learn that she’d have to wait more before being a free woman again.
One insider explained that ‘Abby was telling everybody who would listen she was getting out and was about to turn her life around. Of course, she was really red-faced when she found out that would not be the case at all!’
The pal went on to say that ‘she will not stop banging on about how hard prison life has been for her,’ and that she refuses to take responsibility for what she did.
‘She has been counting down the days until her release, and now she has to start all over again. Abby already made plans for when she got out, so it is a major step back if she is hoping to revive her career.’
Miller was originally scheduled to be transferred to a halfway house on February 20, where she would’ve served the rest of her one year and a day long sentence.
However, the early release was reportedly delayed due to overcrowding.
We hear that Abby will now be transferred sometime in April.
For now, the reality TV star’s official release is still listed as June 21 of this year on the Bureau of Prisons website.
Seeing how Abby had big plans to get her TV career back on track, we can’t help but feel like this delay is going to make it even more difficult for her to do that.
