Hugh Grant is now a married man after being one of the most well-known bachelors in Hollywood. The actor walked down the aisle at the side of his now wife at the age of 57 last month, and it was his first time tying the knot!
After dating Swedish television producer Anna Eberstein for years and even having three kids together, Hugh Grant finally made this step towards marriage and now that he did, he admitted he wishes he’d done it sooner.
The man was a guest star on Today in order to promote his upcoming miniseries titled A Very English Scandal.
While there, he also opened up about his new life as a husband.
‘It’s really nice. I cannot pretend it isn’t. I should have done it before,’ he told Today host Savannah Guthrie.
He went on to gush over his new wife by admitting that ‘I’m just lucky. I am lucky. I have got a great wife. I love her.’
Such simple words yet so sincere, we can totally feel the love.
But Grant is not only a husband, he is also a father of five, and that is definitely not easy, especially while traveling.
‘It’s unspeakable,’ he said about being on the road or in the air with his toddler-aged offspring.
As you may be aware, aside from the three kids he shares with Eberstein, the actor also has two more with ex Tinglan Hong, and all of them are younger than 7!
‘Then you go through that moral torment of, ‘Do I actually travel with them or do I make an excuse, so they have to go with their mom or a nanny?’’ Grant went on about traveling with the tots in tow.
‘I’ve done it because you feel so smug when you get to the other end—you’ve done your bit.’
