The NY Fire Department was called to Trump Tower after a massive fire took over the South side of its 50th floor. The footage is terrifying!
Today, April 7, a huge fire broke out at Trump Tower and although people were able to capture just how bad it was, it seems like the Fire and Police Departments dispatched at the site have managed to contain the flames.
According to some news outlets, it started at around 6 PM.
Citizens living in New York were able to catch on camera the fire and the dark smoke coming out of the President’s well-known home, and it definitely looked hard to contain.
The videos shot by people who gathered around to see the damage became instant virals.
‘There is a fire right now at Trump Tower. Was small and then something happened, and the size doubled in seconds!’ one user captioned a clip.

The latest reports claim one person was seriously injured.
The New York Police Department announced that intersection of 5th Ave. and West 57th Street would be dealing with bad traffic as well as closures in an effort to put out the fire.
It has to be noted that Donald Trump’s office is on the 26th floor but obviously, at the time he was in Washington, D.C., anyway.
At 7:42 P.M., The President took to his favorite social media platform – Twitter – to announce the fact that the fire has been combated.
The man did not hesitate to praise his building either!
‘Fire at Trump Tower is out. Very confined (well built building). Firemen (and women) did a great job. THANK YOU!’ he wrote.
