Hillary Clinton Is Teaming Up With Late Night Host Stephen Colbert For A Dramatic Re-Entry Into Late Night Television
Hillary Clinton will be on Stephen Colbert's late show on the 19th of September. The former presidential candidate will be doing her first late-night television interview after last year's election.
CBS made the official announcement, today, Thursday, September 7th.
During her upcoming appearance, audiences and producers are expecting her to discuss her new memoir, 'What Happened,' which will hit the shelves on the 12th of September.
Her new book will document her experiences running against the now-president, Donald Trump.
The former democratic candidate appeared on the show back in 2015, where she made the audience crack up in laughter regarding her husband's successes as the President.
Clinton is making the rounds on TV as she plans to appear on CBS Sunday Morning with Jane Pauley as well.
There is no doubt Hillary will share her views on the highly contentious and controversial presidency of Donald Trump and the rest of his cabinet.
The former politician will also discuss FBI Director James Comey's influence on the US election and how it played a huge role in her failure to become the president.
Not long ago, Clinton published a short clip from her audio book on MSNBC, where she described her experiences feeling uncomfortable during the debate with Donald Trump.
Publications at the time claimed Trump was attempting to "intimidate" her by walking closely beside her while she was talking.
In the excerpt, she said, "'This is not OK,' I thought."
She claimed "Donald Trump was looming behind me," and just two days before, he allegedly bragged about groping women.
The former candidate said it made her "skin crawl," and she should've told him, "Back up, you creep. Get away from me! I know you love to intimidate women!"
