Sam Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, are celebrating their one-year anniversary today, as they got married on this day in 2017. During a chat with Entertainment Tonight, Hunt said that their wedding in his hometown of Georgia was “perfect,” and his wife was incredibly happy which was the main priority.
The singer explained it was a great time for the both of them because all of their friends and family were there. “It was a really, really, great moment,” the country star remarked.
Even though Hunt and Fowler rarely showcase their love for each other on social media, there is still a romance there. The country star and his wife have established a partnership that’s especially strong in real life, in person.
While their partnership is especially strong now, Sam admitted there was a time when he had to fight for his partner’s heart. At one point, when they were on hiatus, the singer said he had to fight to win her back because there was a chance of losing her.
He explained, “I think last summer I went out to Hawaii around seven times,” and it took all of those trips to convince his then-girlfriend to come back to the United States mainland.
Hunt said to Sibley Scoles at the Billboard Music Awards that he “did really good,” because she’s “beautiful.” As for what he likes about her most, Hunt admits it’s her compassion for the rest of humanity that makes her so endearing to him.
She cares for other people and is a genuinely good person. There’s no pretending to be someone else to impress others, and Sam is all about that. Sources close to the couple explained their chemistry as “undeniable.”
Another insider shared, “Sam is always doing little things to make Fowler feel special, and I think that’s the reason why she loves him so much. He really knows how to make her feel good, while at the same time having respect for himself.”
