Bristol Palin will be doing well financially after her first season of Teen Mom. The 27-year-old confirmed she would join the cast of the reality series on the 20th of July, Friday, and sources stated she would be earning $250,000 for her first season.
If everything goes well, she’ll get another season, and then a third as well. A source who spoke with Us Weekly said that she would receive an additional $50,000 if she chose to have two more additional seasons after the first.
An insider who spoke with the publication claimed she could be making around $350,000 for three years of work. The outlet also reported, however, that Bristol is actually not that happy with the amount received.
She figured she would be making significantly more. The source claims Sarah Palin’s daughter assumed she would make around $500,000 for her time on the reality series.
And on the 19th of July, Farrah Abraham addressed the report that she would be on the show, saying, “Who cares!” The reality star claimed there isn’t a single person who could effectively replace her. Farrah believes that she was the greatest character on Teen Mom thus far.
As it was previously reported, Farrah was told that she had to quit working in the adult entertainment industry, otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to hold her position on the series. Farrah later sued Viacom and MTV for supposedly prescribing gender stereotypes, filing an official civil suit for sexual harassment.
As for Palin, she had her first child when she was 17-years-old with her ex-fiancé, Levi Johnston. At that time, Sarah Palin was considering running for the presidency. She also shares two more daughters with her husband, Dakota Meyer.
Sources claim that Sarah and Todd Palin will appear on the show, much to their fans delight. Sarah said to reporters from TMZ that she would give Bristol whatever she needed.
