Heather Locklear is currently in a hospital in California.

A few hours ago, Locklear drove her vehicle straight into a ditch while in Sherman Oaks.

According to authorities, the scary accident occurred around 6 pm PST.

It is not known if there were other passengers in the Porsche.

The TV legend was rushed to a nearby hospital, and there is no update on her condition at the moment.

Authorities spoke to TMZ and said it was a single-car accident and they do not believe that drugs or alcohol was involved in the crash.

An insider insists that the Spin City actress accidentally drove her car into a ditch and she was alert and talking while being taken to the medical center.

Police said she was not cited for the accident.

The 55-year-old former Melrose Place actress gave fans several major scares in the past.

In late 2008, Locklear was pulled over and arrested in Santa Barbara on suspicion of driving under the influence.

In July 2010, she completed a 30-day in-patient rehab program after getting in trouble with the law due to a hit-and-run.

In early 2012, Locklear's sister called the police explaining that she was in danger of harming herself after taking prescription drugs and alcohol.

In late 2016 and early 2017, Locklear entered into rehab after having an epic meltdown.

A source at the Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center where she was seeking treatment told Radar: “When she came in, she was drunk and on pills, crying, and screaming she had to be helped because she was so f****d up!"

The person added: “She’s on alcohol and benzo(s). She’s in a private house with two other people. The only time she comes out is to see the doctor.”

The medical expert claimed the mother of one was admitted to a psych ward, and treated for “intense stomach pain,” and "severe distress.”

The blonde beauty did release a statement at the time where she addressed the incident.

Locklear had shared: “I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently, I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead.”

She went on to say that she was working to get better.

However, a source close to Richie Sambora's former wife was less positive and said: “Heather’s in a bad place again. Hopefully, this time she’ll get the help she needs.”

Fans are hoping she okay after the latest incident.
