It’s been five years since Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino were part of the cast of the Real Housewives of Orange County, but the two women are once again involved in some RHOC drama. Bellino’s ex-husband Jim has filed a lawsuit against Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador, and Rossi and her longtime boyfriend Slade Smiley have agreed to testify against them.
According to a new report, Jim filed paperwork with the court earlier this week that claimed Smiley contacted him and said that he and Rossi want to help him with his lawsuit. Jim also said in the documents that Smiley said he and Rossi would “provide testimony regarding the anger, hostility, and ill-will that Defendants harbor with respect to Bellino.”

Jim also claims that Smiley told him that he and Rossi could produce evidence that shows how Beador and Judge have a pattern of making up stories “to create notoriety for themselves in the media.”
Jim and Alexis split in June after 13 years of marriage, and then he filed a $1 million lawsuit against Beador and Judge the following month. He claims that the two RHOC stars made “morally corrupt” comments about him and his businesses, plus his relationship with Alexis.
“He was very crusty … I almost sent her a message saying, ‘I’m so sorry,’ but then you sent me that text saying ‘Do you think that he’s trying to protect her? Do you think possible that he’s in trouble and she can’t testify against him if he’s in trouble,’” Judge said about Jim during a June appearance on Heather McDonald’s Juicy Scoop podcast.
And, Us Weekly reports that multiple blogs claimed at the time that Beador noted during the conversation that “people get paralyzed” at Jim’s trampoline park business, and Judge had a “theory” that he was “going to jail.”

Beador and Judge have both filed responses to Jim’s lawsuit and have asked that the court dismiss the case. In her response, Judge said that she never defamed or spread false information about Jim or his businesses, and her alleged defamatory statements were simply her thoughts. She also said that he did not suffer any damages because of her opinions.
Jim’s attorney responded to Judge’s motion by calling it a “weak attempt” to recast her statements as opinion.
Because she didn’t join the cast until Season 9, Beador never appeared with Rossi and Alexis on RHOC. But Tamra Judge did, and she had a turbulent relationship with Gretchen Rossi, Smiley, and both Jim and Alexis Bellino when they were on the show.
New episodes of the Real Housewives of Orange County air Monday nights on Bravo.
