Harvey Keitel’s Son Gets Beaten Up In New York City

According to a news report from Fox News, Harvey Keitel’s young son was assaulted in New York City yesterday. Lieutenant John Grimpel from the NYPD said to reporters from the organization that the ambulance rushed him to the Beth Israel Hospital and they treated him there for small injuries.
Grimpel said to the publication that a physical altercation occurred after the boys tried to beat him up. Following the incident, the perpetrators fled the scene to an unknown place.
And while the police didn’t confirm if it was Keitel’s son, reporters from Fox News were able to figure it out on their own that it was the 13-year-old, Roman.
According to the New York Daily News, Roman Keitel was riding his bike in lower Manhattan when two other kids tried to steal his bike, but once they encountered resistance, they chose to hit him instead.
Keitel’s son said no to the boys who wanted his bike, and they then struck him, hitting him in the face and the nose. Fortunately, they didn’t get to acquire his bicycle.
A representative speaking on behalf of Harvey Keitel didn’t return a request for comment according to Fox News. As you may know, Roman is the 79-year-old’s youngest son.
Harvey is currently working with Martin Scorsese right now in the upcoming film, the highly anticipated, The Irishman, which is set for release on Netflix in 2019.
The film features an all-star cast and joins the ranks of other anticipated films like Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Coincidentally, Harvey has worked with Tarantino in the past, notably, in Reservoir Dogs, Tarantino’s feature-length debut that brought him critical acclaim and mainstream success. Before then, Harvey had already established himself as a successful actor and continued to find work in Hollywood for large roles in big named movies.
