Hailie Mathers, the 22-year-old daughter of beloved rapper Eminem has opened up about her relationship with her dad in a rare interview with Daily Mail! Here’s what she had to say!

Hailie, who has graduated from Michigan State University not too long ago was asked if Eminem supports her as a father would.

‘Of course, we are very close,’ she replied.

A lot of Eminem’s most loyal fans pretty much grew up listening to the man rap about his child, which also unavoidably included lyrics about the very tumultuous relationship he had with Hailie’s mother and his former wife, Kim Scott.

Nowadays, the 22-year-old is trying to make a name for herself by attempting to become a social media influencer.

Hailie, who is close to having one million followers on Instagram said about her future that: ‘I am not sure yet, it is kind of up in the air. People have been reaching out’ through the platform to work with her.

‘Not so much [by] magazines, but companies who work with them,’ she noted.

Despite the fact that Hailie and her father have not been spotted hanging out together in the last few years, Eminem still made sure to dedicate yet another song to her.

The said track is part of his newest album Revival and is titled Castle.

The lyrics are actually three different letters he wrote to her in different stages in his life.

‘You'll be coming out of Mommy's stomach soon/ I better do something quick if I'ma be able to support you. Just thinking ahead, I’ma make it if it kills me/ Let’s see how far I can take it with this music,’ he raps.

But perhaps the most touching one is from the Christmas Eve of 2007 before Hailie turned 12 and when the rapper was struggling with his drug addiction.

‘A lot's happened in between them since I rised to this fame/ I've said your name but always tried to hide your face. And if things should worsen, don't take this letter I wrote. As a goodbye note, 'cause your dad's at the end of his rope.’
