Hailey Baldwin Says Money Doesn’t Equal Happiness — Here’s Why

Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber are no doubt blessed to be worth millions of dollars but it doesn’t stop them from appreciating the little things and it doesn’t protect them from some of the same trials and tribulations that the average person has. The model took time to snap back at a social media user who thinks that money must equal happiness.
Mrs. Bieber decided to share with her followers a beautiful moment where she soaked in the sunshine while eating her lunch.
The 22-year-old posted a few clips in her Instagram Story with a caption that read: “Taking time to really be grateful for the smallest things in life goes a very long way for your soul. Never hurts to remind yourself to have gratitude, even for the littlest of things. Today I’m grateful to be sitting in the sunshine eating lunch…may not seem like the biggest deal but reminding myself how wonderful it is made me smile. Thank you God for the little things… The smallest things in life will make you happy if you let them.”
Unfortunately, her gracious moment turned into one where she had to defend herself for the simplest thing after a slick commentator sarcastically wrote: “My husband is worth $265 million but it’s the little things that make me happy ha ha ha.”
Baldwin hit back with a fair response: “Money doesn’t = happiness. At all. You can be the wealthiest person in the planet and be miserable. Not fair to judge people’s circumstances from the outside.. am I not allowed to be grateful to sit in the sunshine and enjoy my day like a regular person?”
It’s true that money could solve a lot of problems in a person’s life; however, it’s important to remember that it can’t solve it all. What do you think about Hailey’s clapback?
