Pregnancy rumors have followed Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton ever since they started dating three years ago, and the newest claim is that the 49-year-old singer is expecting a “miracle baby” with Shelton. However, just like all of the baby stories that have come before it, the latest rumor is completely false.
OK! Magazine started the latest “miracle baby” rumor, but this isn’t the tabloid’s first attempt to perpetuate the Stefani-Shelton pregnancy myth. Since the couple began dating in 2015, the publication has reported baby news multiple times, but every time the story gets debunked.
The most recent claim is that Shelton and Stefani were desperately trying to get pregnant, and they had spent nearly a quarter of a million dollars on various medical treatments. But now, they had supposedly found success after a third round of IVF.
To prove those claims, OK! reported that Stefani had been seen in Beverly Hills wearing loose clothing, and that led to the declaration that she and Shelton were expecting.
“Gwen’s giving every indication that she’s pregnant, and it looks like she may already have a baby bump,” said the so-called source. “This is the miracle they’ve been praying for.”

The insider, who also claimed to be Stefani’s best friend, also said that the couple had chosen a name for their baby, and they had invited their friends and family to his Oklahoma ranch to announce they are having a girl.
But, the “source” didn’t mention the name the couple had supposedly picked out for their imaginary daughter or when Stefani was supposedly due. In addition to spreading the false baby rumor, the “source” also tried to re-start the rumor that Shelton and Stefani had secretly married six months ago.
But, as the Econo Times points out, both the baby and wedding news are fabricated stories. Shelton and Stefani are not married, and they are not expecting a baby.
Both singers are currently busy with concert tours, but they are in a happy relationship and continue to share glimpses into their lives on social media. Neither of them is shy about posting sweet pics and videos together, so it is safe to say that if and when they do get married and have kids, they will be the first to break the news — not a so-called source.
Gwen Stefani just turned 49 earlier this week, and to celebrate her big day Blake Shelton posted a special message on Instagram. He wrote that somehow it feels like it is his birthday every day, and then he wished Stefani a happy birthday and added that he loved her.
She then wrote back, “I love u Blake, can’t believe I got U #thankuGod.”
